Brookside Capital Partners is pleased to announce the successful final closing of Brookside Capital Fund V SBIC, L.P. (“Fund V”) at just over $393 million, well in excess of its $325 million fundraising target. Similar to its four predecessor funds, Fund V is structured as a Small Business Investment Company (“SBIC”) and will continue the same investment strategy by providing subordinated debt, second lien, unitranche financing and minority equity capital in support of leveraged buyouts, strategic acquisitions, recapitalizations and growth initiatives for leading small and mid-sized companies throughout the United States.
