JetDirect Aviation, LLC is a private jet charter business formed to take advantage of the significant consolidation opportunity in the multi-billion dollar private jet charter market. The platform for the business was established through the acquisition of Summit Jet Corporation (“Summit”), a leading management and air charter provider in the New York metropolitan area. In August 2005, Brookside Mezzanine Partners invested in subordinated notes to partially finance the acquisition of Summit by a private equity sponsor.
