Deirdre M. Sheehan

Deirdre is a Vice President of Brookside Capital Partners where her responsibilities include business development, marketing, corporate communications, investor relations and fundraising.

Prior to joining Brookside Capital Partners in 2012, Deirdre, a US/EC citizen, was a senior partner of a U.S. broker-dealer, where she also served as its Senior Executive Officer in London responsible for launching and building its sales and trading activities throughout Europe.  She began her career in the Analyst Program at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York and subsequently joined a Morgan Stanley client firm.  She was a founding member of the Connecticut chapter of 100 Women in Finance.

Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boston College.

In her recreational time, Deirdre enjoys skiing, travel and sailing, where she has competed in a number of regattas.  Deirdre and her husband support their shared passion for sailing by serving on the Board of Sail To Prevail, a non-profit organization that provides specially adapted boats for individuals with disabilities.
