Nicholas F. Ganias, CFA

Nicholas is a Partner at Brookside Capital Partners and his responsibilities include deal origination, underwriting and portfolio monitoring and serves as a board member or board observer for numerous Brookside portfolio companies. During 2020, Nicholas opened the Los Angeles office to lead the Firm’s expansion into the western region of the United States.  He has been a member of the Small Business Investor Alliance (“SBIA”) Western Regional committee since October 2022.

Prior to joining Brookside Capital Partners in 2008, Nicholas was an Analyst in the Middle Market Lending group at NewStar Financial where he participated in the origination, structuring and underwriting of leveraged finance transactions for middle market financial sponsor clients. He also worked as a P&L Analyst at JWM Partners, a multi-strategy hedge fund located in Greenwich, CT.

Nicholas holds a BSBA degree with a concentration in Finance from Boston University, an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a CFA charterholder.

Nicholas enjoys playing tennis (he was a member of the Men’s Division 1 tennis team at Boston University), being physically active, spending time with his family, traveling (especially to Greece) and rooting for his hometown Boston sports teams, most notably the NE Patriots.
