Brookside Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Melanie J. Ipyam has joined the Firm as an Analyst. Melanie interned with Brookside in the summer of 2021 through the Small Business Investing Scholars Program, while pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California.

Prior to joining Brookside, Melanie also previously interned as a Derivatives Trader at BNY Mellon and as an Analyst at the University of Southern California Investment Office. Melanie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and the Global Economy with a Minor in Business Finance from the University of Southern California.

The Small Business Investing Scholars Program is an initiative to create inclusion within the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) community by promoting gender, racial and ethnic diversity by giving young professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the private equity and direct lending industries.
